Christie Assadollahi, Ph.D., E.I., Structural Engineer Intern

Christie Assadollahi is a Structural Engineer Intern at Fowler Engineering. She joined the team in June 2023 and passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE: Civil – Structural) exam in June 2024. She will continue to gain structural design experience and plans to obtain her PE License in 2026. Christie earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Christian Brothers University in 2018. She received a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural Concentration) in 2019 and her Ph.D. in Engineering (Civil Engineering Concentration) from the University of Memphis in 2023. While pursuing her Ph.D., Christie was a graduate research assistant and an instructor for several engineering classes.

Christie is happily married to her husband, Andrew. Together they have a daughter, Eileen. They also have two cats named after prominent figures in engineering: Elsie and Hibbeler. She enjoys frequenting coffee shops with Andrew and singing and dancing to music with Eileen (albeit extremely out-of-tune and with no rhythm).
